Deeper in the Forest

The angels I see are above the lake I frequent every day. My lake inspired this piece of music with synths, piano, guitar, and field recordings. This track’s guitar parts were inspired certainly by two of my inspirations, both David Gilmour and Steve Rothery. The field recordings are taken from time spent on my back patio that is backed by the forest and also Lake Norman near where I live. The main synth is my Waldorf Iridium along with some analog machines and some of my favorite soft synths.

This electronic darker ambient composition was certainly inspired by the thoughts of Memento mori. The contemplation that everyone must die to me is something that adds richness to my life. The music in this piece includes a vocoder line that repeats saying that “Only Time Will Tell Us What to Do”. The includes some of my favorite analog synths, piano, strings, bass guitar, electric and acoustic guitars.
